How to run as root on Clonezilla

Once you enter a command prompt, enter the following command

sudo su –

The prompt will change from $ to a # and you are running as root

Hi. Thanks for the explanation. I don’t know the way to exit the command shell and get back to the clonezilla app once I am root and once I get back to the clonezilla app, will I still be running as root ?

    Thanks, Jack.

Just type ‘exit’; you’ll go back to a regular user.
