I removed this registry key and everything still worked and the message went away.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows Media Device Manager\Plugins\SP

If you do want to sync to other devices this might not be the solution for you.
This solution is at your own risk and I advise you to make an export of this folder of your register before you edit anything.
